Claudia's Grad Portraits at Cesar's

A while ago my niece, who I am proud to say is the Student Body President at Rancho High School, asked me if I would take her graduation portraits.  Instead of having one photo shoot, we decided to have many smaller photo shoots throughout her senior year.  These are a few photographs from the very first photo shoot.  They were taken on Las Vegas Blvd in front of Cesar's Palace.

Kelso Family Photo Shoot...

Earlier this month I drove out to Boulder City to photograph the Kelso family.  The photos were taken at Hemenway Park which overlooks Lake Mead.  Here are some photos from the photo shoot.

I took this one while spinning on the merry-go-round.  I got really dizzy and almost fell off, but it was well worth the risk.

Quick Note:  When I arrived at Hemenway Park, I was amazed by the number of Greathorn Sheep grazing in the park.  I will share photos of the sheep in a later post.  If anyone is interested, here is a link to a map of the park.

Lowy Family Portraits...

I recently had the privilege of photographing the Lowy family at a local park. Here are my favorites.

Like most 2 year-olds, Madi stole the show.

The park is adjacent to small commercial area that is designed like a small town main street.  It provided a variety of photo opportunities.

Between poses, I took some candid photos of Madi.  This one is my favorite.

First Image in a Micorostock Website

I have my first image selling in a micro-stock website. Micro-stock agencies sell your images to web designers, magazines, blogs, etc., and give you a percent of the sales. Images don't sell for that much, but the idea is for them to sell many times. Here is the image.



It is currently selling at Bigstock Photo.

Natalia Graduates...

A couple of months ago Natalia asked me to make some graduation portraits for her. For one reason or another (bad weather, conflicting schedules, etc, etc) we had a hard time getting the portraits done. After she had already graduated from UNLV, we finally met and got it done. Thanks Natalia... good luck on all your future endeavours.

Monique at Floyd Lamb Park

Here are some photos from Monique's Photo Shoot. Photographing Monique was a lot of fun. She is very photogenic and did not need very much direction.



These photos were taken at Floyd Lamb Park, which has become one of my favorite spots for outdoor photos. It has a lot of shade and is very green. If you have not been out there, I recommend you check it out.



Monique is graduating this year and we wish her the best in all her future endeavors.
